A Speaker Guide for Event Organizers and Planners

Choose the voice.
Define the outcome.

A practical selection guide for AI security and incident-readiness events. A compelling keynote, an executive discussion and a facilitated exercise are different jobs.

01

Start with the room.

Who is attending, what do they already know and what should they do differently? Separate executive accountability, technical AI security and employee awareness rather than requesting a talk that covers everything.

02

Choose the format.

Use a keynote to establish a shared frame, an interview to explore trade-offs and a facilitated exercise to practice decisions. Confirm facilitation experience directly; a strong talk is not proof of a custom tabletop offering.

03

Ask for evidence.

Request a recent talk sample and an outline for your audience. Ask how technical claims are sourced, how examples avoid confidential details and how the material distinguishes current capabilities from speculation.

04

Compare the fit.

Use the same questions for every candidate. Look for relevant documented scope, clarity and a workable session plan. Our alphabetical directory is a starting point, not a numerical ranking or proof of availability.

A brief you can copy into your inquiry

Audience and context: roles, knowledge level, approximate group size and the business situation.

Desired outcome: one decision or behavior the session should support.

Format: keynote, interview, workshop or exercise; duration and Q&A.

Logistics: date, time zone, venue or virtual platform, travel responsibilities, AV, accessibility and rehearsal.

Evidence and deliverables: a current outline, recent talk sample, source approach, permitted recording and follow-up materials.

Three useful questions before you commit

  1. What will this audience understand or be able to do after your session?
  2. Which examples and technical details will you adapt, and what should we supply safely?
  3. What is outside the engagement, including real-time incident response, legal advice or custom exercise facilitation?
